Six White Birds

Six white birds overlooking a lake
Perched on a tan-brown limb overhead
Silently watching the ripples in the sky
And the floating body drifting by

One white bird turns to look at me
As i hide my knife and turn to flee
Its piercing blue eyes now holding me back
Did it see me play out my act?

Birds dont talk! Oh what a jest!
So i put the little matter to rest
The birds fly away, guess I am done,
All the birds - save the strangled one

  2. I am tempted to comment once again for the pure reason that I fail to understand why you are being read by such few people and why you don't make an effort when you write like that! I don't remember the last time I knew someone with such a vivid imagination. Looking at your work I feel embarrassed about mine :|

OK. I haven't said this to anyone before but I will say it to you; I seriously feel you should do something about it. On a lazy Sunday afternoon, when Noushki is fed and dry and happily kicking on the bed and Aarti has gone off to sleep after all the weekend mayhem, take a pen and paper and start. You can do wonders, I am sure of it :)
